DTN retail fertilizer survey showed prices rising sharply in the second week of February 2021, with DAP up 21% to $588/ton and urea up 21% to $453/ton versus a month earlier. MAP, UAN solutions, anhydrous and potash also rose by 7% to 17%.
Retail fertilizer costs are climbing across all major products, raising input costs for corn and other feed crops and possibly shifting acreage decisions. The broad rise signals firm nutrient prices into the spring season.
