Ukrainian sunflower purchase prices fell by 2000-2800 UAH/t this week to 23500-24200 UAH/t after a rapid prior rise. Sunflower oil dropped $100/t to $1580-1620/t FOB and sunflower meal fell $50-60/t, while Chicago soybean oil and palm oil futures were mixed.
Lower sunflower oil and meal export prices soften the vegetable oil and meal complex, and the sunflower seed pullback reduces farm-gate cost support for feed meal alternatives.
