BPC says it raised its 2021 potash contract price with India's IPL by 13.4% to $280 per tonne, up from $247 agreed in January. Prior contracts were $230 in 2020 and $280 in 2019.
The price increase reflects stronger potash demand and supports higher fertilizer costs for buyers in India and elsewhere.
