The NSW Government's Regional Job Creation Fund is providing a $4.5 million grant toward a $14 million expansion of Fletcher International Exports' Dubbo lamb and sheep plant. The upgrade will raise processing capacity to 11,000 head per day and create over 400 jobs.
The expansion adds sheep processing and rendering capacity in Australia, a modest change to meat and by-product supply that has little direct effect on feed grain or meal prices.
