The US Commerce Department assigned a final antidumping rate of 43.82 percent to Adisseo France's methionine exports and 16.17 percent to other French exporters. The period of investigation was July 2019 to June 2020.
The high duty rate for Adisseo makes French methionine considerably more expensive to import into the US, which supports prices for alternative supply. Feed formulators relying on imported methionine may see higher costs.
