Purchase prices for sunflower seed in Ukraine fell that week from 24,000-24,500 UAH/t to 22,000-23,000 UAH/t delivered to plants. Ukrainian sunflower oil demand prices also declined, and Malaysian palm oil futures rose 3.4% on COVID-related plant restrictions.
Weaker vegoil demand and falling seed prices point to softer sunflower meal and oil values, though palm firmness limits downside.
