Jordan's state grains buyer has issued an international tender to buy 120,000 tonnes of animal feed barley, with price offers due June 9. The new tender follows a previous tender that drew no participants and several cancellations in recent weeks.
Shipment is sought in 60,000-tonne consignments.
Repeated failed tenders point to thin trading interest and possible pricing disagreements, which can limit demand for Black Sea and EU barley. The outcome will indicate whether Middle East feed demand is firm.
