The DTN average price for domestic DDG across 40 locations was $189 per ton for the week ended June 17, down $17 from a week earlier. Prices fell after the limit-down corn close and limit-down soybean and soyoil moves, and plants had ample supply with few spot buyers.
Ethanol plant output also dropped slightly that week.
Heavy DDG supply and falling corn and soymeal values reduce the feed value of DDG relative to corn and soymeal, pressuring prices further. Buyers may hold off until supply tightens.
