Belaruskali's strike committee said current EU sanctions barely affect the company's ability to trade in the EU and urged a ban covering all potash types. The EU's current measures exempt about 85% of Belarus's potash types.
If the EU widened the ban to all potash grades, Belarusian supply to Europe would be cut, which would tighten the market and support potash prices.
