Norway's Yara CEO said the company will continue buying potash from Belarus. Belaruskali's main export grade, at 60% potassium content, was not on the EU's sanctions list, which targeted only grades below 40% or above 62%.
Because the sanctions exempt the main Belarusian potash grade, supply to Europe continues, which limits upward pressure on potash prices from the sanctions.
