USDA's July report raised 2021/22 world sunflowerseed production by 2.07 million tons to 56.99 million tons. Oil and meal output also rose, with Russia up 2 million tons to 16.5 million tons and Ukraine held at 16.7 million tons.
Higher global sunflower meal output, led by Russia, adds to protein supply and is mildly bearish for meal prices.
