U.S. DDGS prices rose $9/MT in the week to August 26, as declining ethanol run rates tightened supplies. Domestic buying was slow but steady, since most domestic users had already filled early fall needs.
Export offers fell, with FOB Gulf prices down $6/MT for spot and $10-12 for fall/winter, and containerized prices were lower.
Tighter ethanol output reduces DDGS supply, which supports feed prices, but weaker export offers and quiet buying limit the upside. The DDGS-to-corn ratio rose to 0.92, still below its three-year average, so DDGS remains a relatively attractive feed option.
