The Kansas Grain Sorghum Commission approved a $1.01 million FY2022 budget focused on research and farmer programs. The update also cites USDA's September WASDE, which raised sorghum acreage to 7.3 million, the highest since 2015.
The budget itself does not move supply or demand; the acreage reference repeats the USDA report already covered, so the price impact is minimal.
