Rusagro has begun commissioning its largest rendering plant in the Russian Far East, which processes pig slaughter waste into meat and bone meal, blood meal and fat. The plant is part of the Rusagro-Primorye pig complex and will also accept third-party raw materials.
Added domestic rendered protein supply in Russia is a small, incremental addition to feed protein availability in the region with little direct effect on global grain or meal prices.
