Morocco's OCP Group reported net revenue of MAD 57.6 billion (US$6.45 billion) for the first three quarters of 2021, up 38% year on year. Phosphoric acid revenue rose 47% and phosphate rock sales revenue rose 25%, with higher prices offsetting lower volumes.
The results confirm that phosphate prices have risen sharply and that a major exporter expects strong demand to continue into 2022. This supports higher costs for phosphate-based fertilizer and feed phosphate.
