Polish wholesale prices for nitrogen fertilisers rose sharply in October 2026. Ammonium nitrate Pulan climbed 140 zł/t in about ten days to an average of 2360 zł/t, and urea Pulrea rose 50 zł/t to 3340 zł/t.
Other Grupa Azoty products, including Zaksan/Megan 33.5 and several RSM and Saletrzak grades, also increased by 30 to 90 zł/t.
Higher nitrogen fertiliser costs raise production costs for grain and oilseed growers, which can support corn and wheat prices over time and weigh on the margin for planting decisions.
