DTN's average domestic DDG price for the week ended Dec. 29 was $199 per ton, up $6 on the week, across 34 reporting locations.
The December average was $193, below the $203 average of December 2020. Ethanol plant output rose to 1.059 million bpd, and feeders are shifting to DDG as soymeal prices climb.
Rising soymeal prices make DDG a better-value protein, which supports DDG prices. Ethanol output growth limits how far that support can go.
