India's forex reserves fell $1.27 billion to $719.75 billion in the week ended 23 October, their seventh straight weekly decline. The drop was driven mainly by a $2.65 billion fall in gold valuations, while foreign currency assets rose.
The decline came from valuation changes rather than RBI dollar sales, so it signals less pressure on the rupee than earlier weeks. Feed prices are not directly affected.
