Peru's second 2021 anchovy season in the north-central zone closed after the industry caught 100% of its 2,047,000 metric ton quota. Exalmar reported producing 79,000 metric tons of fishmeal and a conversion factor of 4.15.
A fully caught quota confirms strong fishmeal output from the season, which supports ample supply for feed buyers. The result is largely already reflected in prices, so the impact is limited.
