Asian currencies closed October mixed, with the Indian rupee up about 1% for its best month since February. The yuan reached 6.659 per dollar, its strongest since June 2022, and the won rose to 1,332.51, while the yen was roughly flat after the Bank of Japan held rates at 1.25%.
