The Cotton Board's third-party evaluation of the Cotton Research & Promotion Program found long-term returns to producers and importers, including a 13% price uplift and $6.40 returned per producer dollar invested. The report also found promotion spending raised nominal cottonseed prices by an average of $12.23 per short ton.
The findings describe historical program effects and do not signal a new supply or demand change, so the price impact on cottonseed or feed products is minimal.
