DTN's average price for domestic DDG across 34 locations was $259 per ton for the week ended May 27, down $10 week on week. Ethanol plant output rose 3.3% to 1.024 million bpd, an eight-week high, and cash corn losses added pressure.
Higher ethanol output means more DDG supply, and weaker corn values have pulled DDG prices lower, which eases feed costs for buyers. The DDG-to-corn value ratio of about 95% still signals reasonable feed value.
