US ethanol exports reached a four-year high of 185.2 million gallons in April, up 48% from March, with Canada as the top destination. DDGS exports were a 14-month low at 813,749 tons, down 12% on the month, while Mexico remained the largest customer.
Weaker DDGS export volumes mean more product stays in the domestic market, adding pressure on US DDGS prices. Strong ethanol exports indicate robust ethanol plant output, which keeps DDGS supply ample.
