The DTN average DDG price from 34 locations was $225 per ton for the week ended July 21, up $2 on average. Demand picked up and some plants reported tight DDG supplies, while EIA showed ethanol output up 29,000 bpd to 1.034 million bpd.
Improved demand and tighter plant supplies lift DDG values, although the gain is small. Higher ethanol output adds some supply offsetting the firmer tone.
