The DTN average price for domestic DDG from 34 locations was $232 per ton for the week ended July 28, up $7 from the prior week. Support came from higher cash soybean meal prices and rising corn futures, and EIA reported ethanol plant output fell 13,000 bpd to 1.021 million bpd.
DDG prices track corn and soybean meal values, so firmer corn and meal support feed costs for buyers. Lower ethanol output tightens DDG supply modestly, pointing to slightly firmer prices.
