The Renewable Fuels Association reported U.S. ethanol exports of 147.1 million gallons in May, down 21% from April's four-year high. DDGS exports reached a four-month high of 966,108 tons, up 19% from April, with Mexico taking its largest volume in six months.
Higher DDGS export movement draws down domestic supply and supports DDGS prices for feed buyers. Weaker ethanol exports have a limited direct effect on feed-grain markets.
