CME feeder cattle futures fell on Friday as grain and soybean futures rallied on concerns that heat and dryness in the US Midwest will cut autumn yields. September feeders closed down 2.05 cents at 182.20 cents per lb, and October live cattle settled 0.60 cents lower.
Lean hog futures ended mixed.
