The DTN average price for domestic distillers dried grains from 34 locations was $231 per ton for the week ended August 11, 2022, up $2 from the prior week. EIA data showed domestic ethanol output fell 21,000 bpd to 1.022 million bpd, and DDG value relative to soybean meal was 44.4%.
A small gain in DDG prices, supported by soymeal and corn strength, slightly raises the cost of this feed ingredient. Lower ethanol output reduces near-term DDG supply.
