China's average soybean meal price rose from 4,046 RMB per ton on July 20 to 4,222 RMB per ton on August 3, a gain of 4.35%. The increase reflected lower imported soybean arrivals in Hong Kong, reduced crushing, and strong feed demand as hog prices rose.
Reduced crush and strong feed demand tighten domestic meal supplies and support import demand. Analysts expect the upward trend to continue.
