Reuters reports that the Baltic Exchange's main dry-bulk index rose 3.8% on September 1, its best day in about six weeks. The capesize sub-index jumped 55% to 469 points, its strongest day since June 2020.
The supramax index fell to its lowest level in more than 18 months.
