IFFO's market report says cumulative fishmeal production for January to September 2022 was in line with 2021, while fish oil output was up 4%. Year-on-year gains came from the USA, India, Iceland/North Atlantic and African countries, helped by a large capelin quota in Northern Europe.
Stable global marine ingredient supply gives no new shock to fishmeal prices, so the outlook is broadly neutral for feed buyers.
