The ITC told the Court of International Trade in a February 9 response that a proposed remand order seeking reconsideration of its 2021 injury determination on methionine from Spain and Japan would amount to reweighing the facts. Adisseo argues the Commission must make a dispositive underselling finding, while Novus International filed its own response.
The dispute could eventually change antidumping duties on methionine imports, which would affect the price of this feed amino acid in the US. The outcome is still uncertain and the immediate price effect is limited.
