The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council reported DDGS values steady to $2/MT lower for the week ending March 9 as falling corn futures pressured feedstuff prices. The DDGS-to-cash corn ratio rose to 1.16, above its three-year average of 1.06.
Barge CIF NOLA offers were $3-4/MT lower for April and May despite higher barge freight.
DDGS held up better than other feed markets as it stayed competitive against soymeal, which supports feed demand. Lower corn futures and offers add modest downward pressure on feed costs.
