Uralkali signed a contract to supply potash to Indian Potash Limited until September 30, 2023 at $422 per ton CFR. The company says the deal will serve as a key price benchmark for India this year, up from $230 per ton in the 2020 contract.
The $422 benchmark gives importers a reference price, and a deal well above 2020 levels confirms a firmer price base than before the 2022 spike.
