USDA's May report raised its estimate of Ukrainian sunflower oil and meal exports for 2022/23. It forecasts Ukrainian sunflower seed exports falling sharply in 2023/24, to about 700,000 tonnes from 2.55 million, while meal exports rise to 3.875 million tonnes.
Lower seed exports and higher meal exports from Ukraine shift supply toward processed products, which keeps sunflower meal supply ample in the coming season.
