The State Bank of Vietnam set its daily reference rate at 23,729 VND per USD on June 1, up 15 dong from the previous day. Commercial banks opened with slightly lower quoted rates under a trading band of plus or minus 5 percent.
Small daily moves in the dong have little direct effect on feed commodity prices. It is routine currency reporting with no new driver for grain or meal markets.
Not enough comparable past events yet for a historical read.
Moves of each commodity's benchmark from the last close before the event. Historical reads pool past events of the same kind; they describe what happened, not what will. Not investment advice.
