The DeLong Co. and Port Milwaukee celebrated the $40-million Agricultural Maritime Export Facility, which loaded its first vessel of Wisconsin DDGS in June. The 7,250-ton cargo arrived in Belfast, United Kingdom, in mid-July.
The facility expands Great Lakes export capacity for DDGS, a modest structural addition to co-product supply routes that may ease logistics for northern-state producers.
