USDA export inspections for the week ending August 24 show sorghum shipments of 77,863 tons, up 19,930 tons on the week and 55,392 tons on the year. Corn and soybean inspections were also reported, with the main destinations being China and Malaysia for sorghum.
Steady sorghum export demand, mostly from China, supports US sorghum basis. The weekly pace is a routine check and the change is modest.
