Spanish trade association Accoe reports European cereal prices fell in the latest week, with soft wheat down 1.75% to €255.53/t and barley down 1.71% to €233.74/t. Year-to-date declines are large, with soft wheat down 23.60% and corn down 17.54%.
Ample European and global supply keeps cereal prices under pressure, which favors lower feed grain costs for European buyers. Weather-driven rallies would be needed to reverse the trend.
