USDA Crop Progress data for the week ending October 8 show Texas sorghum harvest at 88%, close to complete. The other five sorghum states each had under 40% harvested, and Texas sorghum condition was 45% good to excellent.
Routine harvest progress with poor Texas crop conditions has little independent effect on sorghum prices.
