The Renewable Fuels Association reported August ethanol exports of 102.3 million gallons, down 10% from July, with Canada taking 62.4 million gallons. DDGS exports fell 5% to 947,326 tons, mostly to Mexico, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Lower DDGS export volumes reduce foreign demand for US co-products, a mild bearish factor for DDGS. Continued Mexican and Vietnamese buying limits the downside.
