Novus International completed its acquisition of US enzyme producer BioResource International, gaining ownership of its products, intellectual property and facilities. BRI makes protease, xylanase, mannanase and phytase feed enzymes, and Novus has manufactured its protease product with BRI since 2008.
The deal is a corporate ownership change in feed enzymes with no clear effect on grain, oilseed or protein supply or prices.
