An Iranian knowledge-based company says it has domestically produced granular Triple Super Phosphate fertilizer with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons. The process converts phosphate soil apatite using phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid, and the product contains over 46% available P2O5.
The 100,000-ton domestic capacity is small relative to global phosphate trade, so the price impact is marginal, mainly reducing Iran's import needs.
