Renewable Fuels Association data show February U.S. ethanol exports fell 7% to 139.0 million gallons, with Canada remaining the top destination despite a 17% monthly decline. DDGS exports rebounded 9% to 986,337 metric tons, led by strong shipments to Mexico, which reached a record-level monthly import volume.
Strong DDGS export demand supports the feed co-product market and can tighten domestic supplies, which tends to firm DDGS prices relative to corn and soymeal. Lower ethanol exports are a modest bearish signal for ethanol-linked corn grind.
