March 2024 federal order uniform milk prices were 30 to 87 cents per cwt higher than February across all FMMOs. Florida posted the highest uniform price at $23.85 and the Upper Midwest the lowest at $16.70.
Higher Class I and other class prices lift farm milk revenue, which can support herd retention and feed demand. The effect is incremental and mostly reflects earlier price moves.
