EIA data showed US ethanol production averaged 1.056 million barrels a day last week, down 17,000 barrels on the week but up 97,000 year on year. Stocks fell 208,000 barrels to 26.208 million, still above year-ago levels, and exports rose to 156,000 barrels a day.
Steady output and higher exports support corn grind, but stocks above last year's level keep ethanol and corn demand from getting a big lift.
After 770 past neutral report events, Corn moved a median +0.2% over 5 sessions (54% higher; middle half -1.1% to +1.6%), and +0.7% over 20.

Moves of each commodity's benchmark from the last close before the event. Historical reads pool past events of the same kind; they describe what happened, not what will. Not investment advice.
