Tunisia's Groupe Chimique Tunisien signed a contract to export 150,000 tonnes of fertiliser to Bangladesh in 2024, matching its 2023 volume. The deal would supply more than 20% of Bangladesh's average annual TSP demand of 700,000 tonnes.
The contract adds a supplier to Bangladesh's TSP market and shifts share from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and China, a small change in phosphate trade flows.
