U.S. ethanol prices ended the prior week 0.6% lower but recovered early in the following week, with Midwest rack prices around 51.43 cents per liter. FOB Santos ethanol in Brazil was quoted at 57.02 cents per liter, and the Gulf-Santos spread widened to -6.2 cents per liter.
Routine price moves with a narrow Gulf-Santos spread leave the export outlook largely unchanged. The effect on feed markets is minimal.
