Expana is proposing twice-weekly Benchmark Price assessments for lysine sulphate in South America, FOB São Paulo, in 25kg bags, big bags and bulk. Market participants can comment until August 27, 2024, and the launch would be September 24 if the industry supports it.
A regional benchmark would improve price transparency for South American lysine buyers and sellers, but it does not by itself move lysine prices.
