Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo said the rupiah is stabilising and should strengthen later in 2024 as the US Federal Reserve is expected to cut rates. BI expects the rupiah to average 15,700 to 16,100 per dollar this year, versus about 16,250 at the time.
